The Bennies are an Australian ska punk band formed in Melbourne in 2009 and now based on the Gold Coast. Their sound pulls together ska and reggae with punk, dub, and flashes of heavier influences, built for chaotic energy and unpredictable live shows rather than clean genre lines.

Across multiple line-up changes, the band have released five studio albums and several EPs, slowly building a reputation through touring and word of mouth. Their breakout moment came in 2015 with Party Machine, which landed in the Triple J Hottest 100 and helped push the band onto bigger stages.

Since 2022, frontman Tim Horgan and DJ Snes Mega have continued The Bennies with a new line-up. In 2024 they returned with the single Let’s Have a Party, followed by their fifth album You Can’t Put Out This Fire in April 2025.
