As the only truly Spanish-speaking MC in Delinquent Habits, Kemo shaped the crew’s sound for twenty years – taking their music far beyond all borders and out into the world.
In 1996, the group exploded onto the scene: “Tres Delinquentes” blended classic Mariachi vibes with heavy hip-hop beats.
A sound that completely stood out at the time and opened the door to new ideas for many other acts.

The track blew up overnight – playing not only on hip-hop radio but even in the mainstream.
This led to tours with legends like Korn and Ice-T, and “Tres Delinquentes” became a worldwide hit, with over one million singles sold, and the debut album was almost as successful.

That’s when the masses first realized how incredible Kemo’s flow was – bilingual, clean, tight.
He entered the scene as “The Blaxican” and never looked back.

Four Delinquent albums later, countless tours around the globe, Kemo left the crew to release his solo debut “Simple Plan”.
After strong feedback, albums two and three, and numerous sync deals, the next battle arrived: a cancer diagnosis.
Suddenly, tour dates turned into chemo appointments.

But Kemo persevered – and won.
Now he’s back, reunited with Delinquent Habits, and has released their seventh studio album, “It Could Be Round Two,” plus his own EP, “Ugly At Times,” featuring Godforbid.
