Les Shirley sind ein kick ass All-Female-Rock-Trio aus Montréal, 2019 gegründet.
Raphaëlle Chouinard (Gesang, Gitarre), Lisandre Bourdages (Drums) und Sarah Dion (Bass) haben sich zusammengetan, weil sie genau die Musik machen wollten, die ihnen ihr Leben lang im Soundtrack gefehlt hat – direkt gespeist aus einer Freundschaft, die genauso echt ist wie ihre Songs.

Their sound blasts somewhere between 90s grunge, 2000s punk rock, and catchy pop hooks – with influences ranging from Paramore to Céline Dion. A mix of nostalgia and fresh air that immediately sticks with you. The three are simply really good musicians with a knack for melodies that immediately ignite, and riffs that really pack a punch.

In Montreal, Les Shirley quickly took off.
Their second album “More is More” was released in October 2022, was immediately nominated for the ADISQ as Best Anglophone Album of the Year – and the three even played the opening number of the gala.

Since 2019, they have played over 200 shows and festivals, shared the stage with acts like NOFX, Weezer, Sublime, and were main support for Foo Fighters (at the band’s request!), Simple Plan, Billy Talent, The Beaches, and Avril Lavigne. Additionally, they completed several European tours across Germany, France, Denmark, and Sweden.

Album number three is due in 2025 – and in October, they’re finally heading out on their first US tour.
